Eyevan 7285

EYEVAN started in 1972 with the concept of “wearable glasses” and expanded internationally in 1985. EYEVAN’s products have not faded to this day, and you can feel the high level of skill of the producers and craftsmen, as well as the imagination and strong enthusiasm of the design team at the time, in the products and hand-drawn drawings.

In 2013, after about 40 years, a new design team took over EYEVAN’s craftsmanship and created EYEVAN 7285, a collection that has given a new shape to the collection.
The design sources for EYEVAN 7285 are various objects such as old glasses, telescopes, hand mirrors, and other old tools collected by the first generation design team, as well as man-made objects such as buildings and natural objects that the designer himself saw.

KameManNen – Since1917

The history of KameManNen, which is said to be the oldest eyewear brand in Japan, began in 1917 at the city of Fukui, with a plating factory called “Kimura Seisakusho”. After the Second World War, this was developed to an eyewear factory based in Sabae and KameManNen was born. In 1981 KameManNen successfully used titanium, which is known for its durability and lightness to produce eyewear for the first time in the world, introducing Sabae’s high production quality to the world. The name KameManNen came from a Japanese proverb, “A crane lives a thousand years, a turtle ten thousand years” (Tsuru wa sennen, Kame wa mannen in Japanese. A proverb depicts longevity)”, which was the desire of the founder, Kikujiro Kimura. The brand aspires to continue the concept of KameManNen to pursue not only the beauty of the design itself, but also precise production of eyewear of the highest quality.

We celebrate our 40th anniversary this year and among the many ways we have chosen to celebrate this moment was the production of a new limited series, with one of the most important brands of eyewear in the world, DITA, a brand that is a reference and needs no introduction.

With high-end glasses made in Japan, using only the finest and noblest materials, and which has millions of followers, DITA is the choice of countless personalities from the world music, cinema and arts.
Together with DITA, we re-edited FLIGHT 006, which became one of the biggest bestsellers ever when they were used by Tom Holland in the film Spider Man, Far From Home and Robert Downey Jr in the role of Iron Man in the avengers infiniy war, the famous Edith.
